
Dana Sellers is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Encore Health Partners (Encore).
Ms. Sellers' personal interests focus on the importance of effective governance and the value of health analytics in transforming healthcare. She has over 25 years experience with healthcare, technology and consulting. Ms. Sellers works with healthcare providers across the U.S., helping them bring about change through improved processes, enabling technology, and the insights that come from business intelligence.
Ms. Sellers has broad experience in healthcare and information technology. Prior to founding Encore with healthcare industry veteran, Ivo Nelson, in January 2009, she was a Partner in IBM's Global Business Services organization and leader for the U.S. Healthcare Provider team.
Prior to IBM, she was President and Chief Operating Officer of Healthlink, a healthcare consulting firm. Having participated on the management team of two successful healthcare start-ups, she understands how all facets of an organization come together to bring about success. Ms. Sellers has assisted both small and large provider organizations with strategic planning, has managed large clinical transformation projects, and has served as CIO for an academic teaching hospital and for a large integrated delivery network.
Ms. Sellers is involved in healthcare and healthcare technology at a national, state and local level. She has served on the Board of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), the CHIME Foundation, and the CHIME Education Foundation. She is committed to improving the health of her local community, as well, and is a past Chair of the Board of Healthcare for the Homeless in Houston, where she lives.
