The Great TIE-OFF of 2010

How have brave CIOs nationwide fared in the tie-off challenge with our color blind yet fashion forward Chairman, Ivo Nelson? See the photos and judge for yourself!

George Conklin didn't have a tie, but Ivo conceded the award: "He should win simply for being able to NOT wear a tie to work!"

Dave Muntz was defeated in what was described by Ed Kopetsky as an "easy win" for Ivo (sorry Dave...we liked your tie!)

Ivo suffered his first loss at the hands (or neck) of Dennis L’Heureux, CIO at Rockford. Congrats Dennis!

Ivo barely edged out Tim Stettheimer in this round. Official Judge, Ed Kopetsky: "I give the edge to Ivo (Tim’s is too blue)"

They were neck-and-neck in this tie off, but Charlie Enicks edged out Ivo to take this round. Congratulations Charlie!

Ivo squared off with Inova CIO Geoff Brown in our latest Tie Challenge. This round went to Geoff! Congratulations!

Another tie challenge as Ivo visited Jon Burns @ University of Maryland...this one goes to Ivo (but it was close!)

Bill Burge bravely challenged Dr. Joe Schneider, CMIO at Baylor, to a tie-off...and lost! Congrats Dr. Schneider on the win!

Ivo prevailed in a recent tie-off with J. Robert Beck, MD, CMO of Foxchase Cancer Center. Hope we get a rematch soon Bob!
